Design-Build Fire Station 132

Novus Construction was selected as the Design-Builder for this Fire Station which was designed and built in collaboration with LACDPW and LACFD Project Management Teams. Close interaction with interdepartmental County personnel allowed for an expedited permit process and concurrent design/construction activities. This project was completed in accordance with LEED USGBC standards (Silver Certification).

Fire Station 132 features two apparatus bays including, diesel exhaust systems and steel bi-fold doors.  There are seven dormitory rooms, four baths and three shower areas. The station also features lobbies, station offices, dayrooms, kitchen, exercise room, paramedic facilities, oxygen fill area, emergency electrical generator, fueling areas, practice hydrant areas, hose towers and a dry fire sprinkler system.

Novus Construction was awarded LEED Silver Certification by United States Green Building Council.
